Saturday
Sep. 3 at Washington Huskies
They were nothing special this year but good enough for quality wins over USC and Arizona along with some close losses. A tough task in Seattle opening week.
Loss

Sep. 10 Howard
Win. 1-1

Sep. 17 New Mexico Lobos
I wouldn't call it a gimme but I'll go ahead and say win. Yay. ..we're 2-1 under new head coach Darian Barnes!

Sep. 24 Iowa Hawkeyes
I thought the crossovers got easier!
Big loss.
2-2

Tickets

Saturday
Oct. 1 at Ohio State Buckeyes
LOL. 2-3

Saturday
Oct. 8 Michigan
High Point Solutions Stadium, Piscataway,
Maybe we keep it close on energy alone but no win here.
2-4

Tickets

Saturday
Oct. 15 Illinois Fighting Illini
Tough game, but winnable. I'll go ahead and give us this one to be nice.
3-4

Saturday
Oct. 22 at Minnesota Golden Gophers
Highly unlikely. ..
3-5

Nov. 5 Indiana Hoosiers
Winnable, but I think the Hoosiers finally get their revenge
3-6

Nov. 12 at Michigan State Spartans
Splat.
3-7

Nov. 19 Penn State Nittany Lions
High Point Solutions Stadium, Piscataway,
My heart says yes but my head says 3-8.

Saturday
Nov. 26 at Maryland Terrapins
Dwayne Haskins has his coming out party and Rutgers ends 3-9.

Keep in mind I'm being kind with my Illinois prediction. Though to be fair Indiana could go either way.

What do you think?

Let's wait until we know we aren't having any player arrests, captain suspensions, major injuries to a captain, or total incompetence at HC before we make judgements. Because boy oh boy did the sentiments on this season change in a heartbeat!

Look at the difference a new coach can make with the NJ Devils. There will be enough talent next year if coached well to win 6-8 games.

Considering that Flood probably will be back, that Caroo is gone, that Laviano will still be the QB, and several other key Schiano recruits will have graduated, a 3-9 season is quite possible in 2016.

As long as Flood is here for the duration of his contract, 2017 and 2018 will likely be the same.

That is a depressing prospect.
