I was wondering if you needed to tack on that last TD to seal Croom's fate (the whole 50-point thing). Turns out the 45 was just fine.

Thank you, Coach Nutt.

I've never been happier a day after getting skull-17d by Ole Miss. You did us a huge favor. Beware, Rebel fan.

...if Nutt left Ole Miss for Clemson, but I doubt that happens. I think he'll be at Miss for awhile. That said, he did us a huge favor yesterday, and like you, I'm eternally grateful to him for that.

...LT is not making this hire. I'm not worried about that right now.

Today I am celebrating addition by subtraction.

and the fact that so many OM fans are on here urging us to not get too excited is a sure sign that they are at least a little jittery about Nutt's future and the fact that we don't have Simpleton making this football coaching hire. Hilarious. They beat us 45-0 and are going to the Cotton Bowl, but they are scared shitless today that their impending "return to glory" might be derailed.

They have no choice but to be jittery. Just like we were last year when they canned the worst coach in the conference at the time. Improvement is imminent regardless of who we hire much like it was for them last year.

Greg Byrne is not infallible. He is capable of making mistakes. We'll see who he hires and go from there.

And, for Cowstanza, no Ole Miss fans are worried about Clemson. Houston Nutt isn't going anywhere, at least this year, especially not from his current job to a place where they will expect him to win the conference next year. Of course, that wouldn't stop you from making your own little world where every Ole Miss fan that wishes you would've kept Croom is afraid that Nutt will leave. You have a penchant for making **** up.

You all should be very excited right now. As I posted last night on here, I wish Croom would've stayed here forever, but obviously the time had come for him to leave. As for who your next coach will be, there are some very good choices out there. Tommy Bowden is probably the best who is currently available.

I still can't believe TN went with Kiffin. He'll be in over his head in the SEC for a year or two.
