Drove by this Saturday - pretty moving in passing, hoping to make it there today or tomorrow. Purchasing one of the flags supports veterans in need as well.

In early 1969, I was a 6 year old kid who went with his parents to meet his oldest brother at O'Hare, where he was returning from a tour in Vietnam. My mom brought my brother a change of clothes so he didn't have to wear his uniform for fear of the grief that people might give us as we walked through the airport.
Yesterday, I rode a train from downtown with two Army Rangers on it. Three different people tried to pay for the soldiers' train tickets.
