I'm 100% the same.I quit watching at the half. I’m just broken (by SC football). Once again I foolishly - as much as I resisted - fell for the off-season hype. I’ll keep up with the record, but I’m getting too old for this crap.
I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but: you guys need to get realistic. We are never going to be a powerhouse with Shane. He does not have the coaching chops to consistently overachieve. His recruiting is blah in comparison to other SEC teams. His average SEC recruiting ranking since arriving is 11th. Currently we are 8th. So he has to be able to hire top of the line coaches. But that's never a guarantee. Look at Clemson. They hired all-world OC Garrett Riley and OL coach Matt Luke. Bur Dabo does not have the coaching chops to over come assistants not living up to their billing. South Carolina had our best success in the past when we had coaches whose reputation was on the "coaching end" of the job description (Morrison, Holtz, Spurrier), not the recruiting end. And even they could not sustain it. The bottom line is I no longer let what we do on the gridiron bother me. As I said before: my first Carolina football game was on November 2, 1963 when we entertained Tulane University in Columbia. Our pee wee football coaches took us to watch the Gamecocks as a reward. Tulane came in with the longest losing streak in the nation that day. Yet, they beat us that afternoon 20-7. All I want is revenge. I want our AD to schedule Tulane again so that we can beat the b_ __ _ards before I die.I quit watching at the half. I’m just broken (by SC football). yeah the heisman talk was bizarre and the 1st pick NFL draft the media kept claiming even the announcers at the beginning of the game repeated that, its bizarre.Wait a minute, where are the folks that were penciling us in for the playoffs and handing the Heisman to LaNorris? If you had paid attention then you should have seen this coming. Top seven basically gone from our defense and 4 offensive lineman from a line that couldn't block. Being outgained yardage wise by SC State should have opened some eyes. Also, the Vegas line went from Carolina opening as a 5 1/2 point favorite and then closing at 2 1/2 points. This team is sprinkled with some good pieces but not enough to compete. When I watched the Georgia-Tennessee game, I was in awe with all of the talent on the field.

You guys did not see Beamer, just after beating Clemson, talking up Sellers as the best player in the nation, deserving the Heisman? Shane is a great cheerleader, on the sideline and beyond.yeah the heisman talk was bizarre and the 1st pick NFL draft the media kept claiming even the announcers at the beginning of the game repeated that, its bizarre.
I prefer my cheerleaders be better looking. You guys did not see Beamer, just after beating Clemson, talking up Sellers as the best player in the nation, deserving the Heisman? Shane is a great cheerleader, on the sideline and beyond.
