That's definately the WTF? of the day.
Personally, I'd rather send my kid to the Mike Henig Golden Arm Camp to learn how to tackle guys after the pick.

If you are talking about Tyson Lee, the only character that piece of **** could have shown was to get the hell off the field. He wasn't any better of a person and didn't try harder than anyone else on the football team. That is message board ********.ScoobaDawg said:

As far as on the field, he didn't make the decision to start. He showed up everyday and did his best. How is it his fault if he was the best option we had most of the year, or at leastwho the coach thought was our best option?

The guy was a walk-on QB. All he really wanted was to be on the team and hold a clipboard. He probably would have been a really good scout team QB, and honestly he had a couple of decent games- against Vandy and Arkansas as a junior.
The circumstances weren't totally his fault. Relf had his marijuana issues and got in Dan's doghouse, and Carroll transferred- and while Carroll was not all that great, at least it would have been another option. Our last choice was to burn Tyler Russell's redshirt, and I think most of us except for maybe a couple see that that would have not been in our best interests in the short or long term for MSU or Tyler.
I did my share of bitching about Tyson Lee. Much of it deserved. Much of it because of the situation- not so much a personal thing towards him. And much of it because of the douchebag that sits behind me that thought he could do no wrong and would chew anyone out if anyone dare say something remotely negative about him.
He had that horrible game against LSU and was essentially the goat for his poor decision to keep the ball on an option play, and I think that totally ruined his confidence for the year. He seemed to regress for the most part from that point on. I do think he did the best his could, but the bottom line is he was a walk-on, and he played like it.
Tyson was heavily involved in campus ministries, charity work, and an all-around very sharp guy- made good grades and went to class etc. None of this speaks to his football ability, but give the guy some credit where it is due or take your trip to the zoouche
