I've heard the exact same thing. One year probation, two scholarships.

I heard last week that sources within the athletic department are saying they have already heard from the NCAA and that the one year probation and a couple schollies is what they were told. No bowl ban whatsoever. Also heard that if Mirando had just manned up and admitted what he saw this would have never seen the light of day. The only reason this became an issue is because he turned a blind eye to it. I have not heard anything on when an announcement can be expected to make it official, though.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. Fire Mullen over this? Of course not ... he didn't even know anything about it. Based on what we've been told, it was a rookie coach trying to make a name for himself and crossed the line. And even that may not be true. I believe that if he is suspended any number of games he can not redshirt this year. You can't use a redshirt to cover that.

My guess is that if you see Redmond at any point, the prior number of games was the suspension length.
