I normally don't get into the relentless State/OM stereotyping smackdowns, but I found this amusing. What follows is a birthday wish left on the FB page of an OM alum who used to bartend at an establishment that I frequented for several years. The delightful young lady who posted it, also formerly a bartender at the same establishment, likely had no idea how accurately she encapsulated the OM stereotype. She's a native of Connecticut attended Eastern Connecticut State, and this is the only guy from OM she's ever been exposed to on a consistent basis having only moved to the South (Nashville)a few years ago. Does that mean it's not a stereotype any more?

The Birthday Wish:

Happy Birthday xxxx, I hope you enjoy your big plans tonight to listen to some talk radio, spoil tiny barely legal girls who you’ll waste all your money on, dance like an ******* at a bar that’s just on the cusp of being a gay bar while picking a fight with a guy (probably foreign) and having one of your large friends (most likely from college) win your battle for you. Miss you buddy hope you’re having a great day!
