The kid from Hamilton AL is 100% coming (Croom or no) and he very well (read, probably) bring along 6'5" "possession" receiver w/ 4.5 speed. Talked to an HHS coach today and really likes MSU and will prolly followup on his teammate in 2010 (he's a jr.)

HHS' coach seemed to think that the Alabama kid and Russell will have a pretty good competition for starter next season. I look forward to it.

I've heard everything from going to Oregon to staying with MSU because we are an SEC school letting him play RB. Not to mention he will probably be a 4 year starter at MSU.

Conner was interviewed by BDJ and dispelled all those rumors. Said Oregon was too far away and he is firm in coming to MSU.
