I was recently asked if we, at the MSU Archives, had a copy of the front page or sports page of the Starkville Daily News from after the Bama game in 1997. We only have a copy on microfilm, and it is not the best quality. The patron requesting this was in a photograph from that issue and she lost her copy of the clipping in Hurricane Katrina.

By any chance, does anyone here have a copy of this issue and if so would you be willing to scan the cover for us at the MSU Archives?

Yes DS, the game at Bama. The woman was in the photograph of fans celebrating the win. It was such a big deal because we never beat them 2 times in a row back then (three times with 1998).
