but I understand why it was done. However, a guy like Jose Reyes could probably play all of those defensive positions better than Infante...

Anyways, it's not that big of a deal to me.

I'm more pissed off about the pitching staff. No reason not have more left handed pitching on the roster. Can't believe the Braves contingent isn't irate about Billy Wagner... I know I was.

Hopefully I'll be able to find the game in Aruba where I'll be on my honeymoon next week... it would be nice to catch a few innings. I just hope the NL can get off the snide and finally win one.</p>

I still don't see the point of that selection. Martin Prado can play all of those positions except SS easily. He's played 1B and 3B this year already, and has played OF in the past.<div>
</div><div>The only beef I have with the All-Star team is Manuel's insistence of putting Howard on the team. He should be the one going against Zimmerman and Wagner for the final spot, at best. Having to vote in Votto is a crock of ****. What's going to be an even bigger crock is Howard's announcement as the starting DH for the team (which the manager also chooses), so that he can strike out twice against a lefty starter (Lee, Price, Sabathia?).</div>

That was spot on. Votto is the first half MVP so far this year offensively... Ubaldo Jiminezis in the argument for overall MVP.
