from a reliable source, but he as well admitted it wasn't a firm rumor...<div>
</div><div>They are going to put suites at ground level. Take that for what its worth. In some of the other renderings, you can see something that could be ground lvl suites.</div>

I wouldn't think there'd be a ton of room for suites in an EZ expansion but they can always add some more at a later date.

I suppose novelty or simple supply and demand may fill those spots, but I couldn't image we'd have many folks lining up for ground level suites. The view must be miserable for at least half the game. Sure, it works at Cowboys Stadium, but people in Texas like to throw around money just because they can and want to be seen.

I'm sure the University has done their homework on this if they are planning it and I'm overlooking something. Perhaps older folks would place a high value on these suites for convenience?

Ground level seats in football are the worst seats in the house. Ground level seats in the endzone are the worst of the worst.

If you're going to be in an endzone, it's not a bad seat if you can get a seat up high. I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay for a ground level endzone suite, and if they did, they would regret it pretty quickly.

will that really add a lot more seats? And is that another TV screen behind the top section of seating? Either way I hope they get started soon.

club seating, not luxury suites, in the plan. That may be why the only suites appear to be field level - leaving more room for club seating above.

The expansion's pad level looks good.

Their Arena Tailgating units just happen to face Jordan Hare. Basically football tailgating subsudized their new arena. Pretty clever.

....and there were two or three rows of chairback seats below us.

You can see them here.

Yeah, me personally, I wouldn't pay you a thousand dollars to sit in the worst seat in the house, but hey, different strokes for different folks I guess.

field level suites = great corporate suites but not so great football watching seats. That is as much about being cool and seen as being at the game.<div>
</div><div>Sell em all pretty quickly I would imagine (just not to me)</div><div>
</div><div>Does this expansion mean no more student end zone seats and the rest go more up top?</div>

If they don't put the boxes there, it is just wasted space. In other words, they don't have to put seats there, but if they do, someone will buy them so why not. <div>
</div><div>I think it is just a way to make a little more money and to squeeze in some more people. </div>

I have been in the ground level seats at Cowboys Stadium several times and it was easily the best game experience that I have had. The way it works is each box/suite has about 30-50 passes depending on owner preference and with those passes, each box is also allotted a certain number of seats in the stands directly above the box...usually in the first 5 rows. So a suite with 40 people my also have 20 seats above...that way the wives and kids who could give two ***** about the game can stay down in the box and enjoy the food, comfortable seating and still watch the game on the TVs and the people who are interested in the game can go watch the seats in the stands above while still being able to periodically get free food and drinks from their box below. From the school's standpoint...they are able to sell 40 very expensive tickets while only using up 20 seats in the stadium....great way to maximize revenue.

seating deal at all. i admit i've not been in the new cowboy's stadium but i don't get their ground level stuff. i've always understood that luxury seating is what pays for these deals so it would seem they would have some somewhere. the pics look nice.
