Arkansas hasn't been held to 31 points in regulation in the last 6 weeks and they've only been held under that twice all season (24 both times). We gave up too many big plays, but Arkansas is going to get big plays on any defense. Giving up 31 to Arkansas and forcing 3 turnovers isn't a terrible defensive game. If we had played for the win in regulation instead of playing for overtime, it might have been good enough to win the game.

Both corners absolutely sucked at tackling. They hit high or try arm-tackling high. I don't know if they made any 1-on-1 tackles. Even when they are in on assisting a tackle, they are only involved in hitting/grabbing up high around the shoulders.
I'd like to blame the players directly, but its got to be coaching. Good coaching could teach and drill proper form tackling.
If these guys were trying the right form and just getting run over I could say they are inadequate. But right now I blame the coaches.

They should have learned how to form tackle when they played Pee Wee football 10 years ago. What I see from Broomfield and Banks is a lack of effort from those guys. Broomfield was an absolute disgrace. I mean if you can't bring someone down one on one, can you not at least hold onto them until help arrives? His "play" the last 2 games has been a complete joke. I noticed that Wade Bonner played on the defensive side more last night than in the past. He is a much better tackler than either Broomfield or Banks.
