If you really don't want to fill the 2012 open date with a good BCS team, you might want to go ahead and find a mid-major or I-AA team now. Cause if we have the season I think we will this fall, I suspect ESPN is going to want to get involved in filling that date for us. And I don't think they're going to be looking for a mid-major, unless it's Boise St.

Word has it the SEC has told its members to look for a game they could get out of if the league expands. That would solve our problem and would be a windfall since we got paidfor letting the team out of playing us. If the league expands we will have to go to 9 or more conference games in the future.patdog said:
