A much closer game than I'd anticipated

At the end. Going in, I thought Vandy would hang another 20+ loss on us.
But, there's no such thing as a "moral victory," certainly in basketball.
It's yet another L. That's all that will be recorded.

Not sure why so many are pissed. Only thing to be pissed about is the refs....a bit one-sided. But really, the SEC tournament in the ONLY chance this team has, so I'm pretty calm until those games start.

I'm not pissed at all that we look like a poorly run AAU squad, have no coaching, no fundamentals, no organization ... nothing. Let's just go ahead and tank the rest of the season and get our emotions ready for that magical SEC tournament run so we can truly have something to be pissed about if we don't win it.

Apathetic indifferent observation from a distance has set in.
Still hoping, not expecting.

There were moments tonight, but not enough to engender a winner/killer attitude amongst the fanbase.
Nor the team, apparently.

More thought; rant left unexpressed.

I counted at least 5 "all ball" fouls. I try not to complain about officiating, but the third foul called on Sidney (begging of the 2nd half) and the foul called on Benock on the 3 point shot were especially bad. On both, we didn't even touch the ball much less the shooter. It seemed like Taylor was getting the call if we even breathed on him.

And could someone please tell me why the best point guard in the SEC was not handling the ball in the final minute. Instead, our brilliant coaching staff has Bryant and Benock bringing the ball up the floor in the final minute. What were we doing?
