A QB Coach?

This is my biggest gripe so far. Dan is supposed too be a big developer of QB talent. Why do our plays seem to take so long to develop? We are playing so of the smartest and fastest defenses in the country, with a makeshift O line to boot, and we have QBs trying to stand in the pocket and wait for the plays to develop. It seems like if your O line is a weak point, you want to quickly get the ball out of the QBs hands and out to the WR/TE/RB where there is better chance to make something happen (yes I know that is a generalized statement). Other teams have eaten us up with quick slants and hooks. I am talking about the ones where the QB takes the snap and with in 1 second is throwing the ball to a spot on the field. Quick passes for 3-5 yards that make short yardage 3rd downs more manageable. It seems like we have none of these quick timing patterns in our arsenal and I would expect a lot of these from such a great offensive coach. If I am Russell, I am getting my go to guys together in the off season and working on theses quick passes until they cant take it anymore.
