If my BC club rank is around 1875, where might I expect to get to choose my seats? Any experiences from last year's process would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

is that a $5000 BC contribution plus ticket costs by a friend didn't get him to the lower level but he did get in as a first timer. Not sure where his seats were and not sure of his rank.

According to the secretary at the BC and the online manual, the top 2000 all get to schedule days to come and choose seats. You'd think they would not make that type comment in the manual if only the top 1700 or so actually get to do it. They do however say that not every BC club member who applies for tix can get them. I wonder if it's common at other SEC schools to have to be in the top 20% of boosters just to get season tix to basketball. Maybe so.

Unfortunately that IS how they do it because I was a victim of it last year. They scheduled a day/time for me to come in and select seats only to call me 3 days prior to the day and tell me not to come because there were no more seats. I cannot describe how irate I was (and still am to a degree). I guess it's my fault for assuming that the folks in the AD could actually count how many tickets are ordered in advance of making that schedule...that would just make too much sense I suppose.

they stop the legacy seats and start using priority seating for the whole arena, it might change things a bit. Being a younger alum who is trying to climb the ladder of Bulldog Club priority, I'd welcome priority seating in baseball as well. I'd expect where most people fall on this issue is decided by whether they stand to benefit from status quo or priority seating.

So yeah they have to plan on out in case they arent all taken. I dont understand how you can be irate about it.

"<span class="post-title">They dont know how many seats people are going to select."

Are you serious? When you place an order, you are required to submit the number of tickets you intend to purchase so to claim that they don't know is about as ridiculous as the AD not being able to count or not making the effort to do so.

I'll buy that logic although surprising a group of BC members after the initial seat selection that there are remaining seats available would be a much better approach than pissing off an even larger group.

My rank is in the low 3000's and I've gotten bball tickets the last two years. There were only a hanful of seats left when I picked, but I got them. I've only been in the BC for about 5 years and haven't given over $1000 yet. I'll be surprised if I make it in this year though.
