A lot of you are kind of new on here, but you may have noticed(unless you are sightless/clueless) that there is an opportunity here to ask/express for prayers, advice, congrats...things of that nature. I don't know how you feel about that, but I feel strongly that I'm glad it exists, because it was a place that has on two occasions been where you people have helped come to an emotional rescue....

9 years ago today, our granddaughter died of a mitochondrial abnormality. It was /is gut wrenching, to watch my son and daughter in law deal with this. I emailed one of the mods that I would appreciate prayers...was I amazed. My family tends to mock the 'friends' I have on here, but when they read the messages that were sent on our behalf, they changed their tune.

So I guess I'm saying thanks, not just for me, but whenever you respond to someone's request. It's a very nice gesture. I'm pretty sure this is not the first place people turn when they need prayers, but it IS a very warm one.

Blessings to you all and thanks again.

Wow Spartan, it is hard to believe that was 9 years ago. Blessings come from places we do not always expect. There are no limits to His sovereign power.

9 years? I am sure it has seemed like decades for your family. I remember when you shared that. May your whole family find peace, with their little angel looking over them.
