AS the CD player in my Suburban does not work I have to rely on 95.7 QMF, 107.7 SFR and occasionly 103.5 WAKY living and working in the Louisville area. My truck has a jammin' Bose Sound System in it except for the CD player. I could get a new one but I don't really want somebody to fool around with all of the electrical in there. I hear it is hard to put an aftermarket system in them.
1. Heart (I think not)
2. Kiss (severely overrated)
3. Fleetwood Mac (nada)
4. Most late 80's bands Great White, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue etc.
5. Tom Petty (generic sound)
6. John Mellencamp (too annoyingly Liberal for me}
7. Increasingly CCR {I like only about 3 of their songs anymore}
8. Elton John ( I can't bend my hand that way and his band is too soft)
9. ....and a question for SFR when the hell did Blondie and 10. Billy Joel become classic Rock and Roll?
and why do they play Billy Squire so much.
On another note I have wondered lately what Elvis music would sound like with a better rock and roll band behind him. I think it would be neat if someone could rerecord his voice with a harder edge sound behind him but I guess it would take years to do his whole catalog.
