It was an innocent question of the Six Pack. There wasn't much going on. Football was Croomtastic. Basketball and baseball were underachieving. Does everyone know about that guy at Rick's? He dresses like a douche. A few stories were told. His My Space page was linked (Turtle Power!) A few laughs were shared. Then it happened. A post entitled
"Why are ta'll so jealous of Derek?" appeared. The original poster - one of the douche's posse - Leigh Anne.
Myspace was kind to the Pack again - a picture of the infamous Leigh Anne appeared. More laughs were shared. Mr. Ed was insulted. It all culminated with an award, that was named in the first recipient's honor.

Baseball had some success. Justin Pigott had shut down Florida State in their regional, and in a controversial move, LT did something positive for Mississippi State, and possibly swayed the committee to give MSU the host over Clemson in the super regional. Clemson fans were livid - they had an argument, but not a strong one. A poster named PJs made his way to the Six Pack, and let us know about GTOs and why Clemson should have hosted.
He ran his mouth for a while, but obviously forgot that his MySpace username was the same as his posting name - and his
MySpace profile was wide open. The week culminated in a sweep of Clemson that resulted in members of the Six Pack in right field sporting signs about GTOs and even throwing banana peels onto the field.

It was about this time that the Six Pack was taking off - Coach had solidified himself and earned a No. 1 seed in DDDY III. However he could not be outdone by the No. 2 seed Dustin Dawg. That threat to kick Dawgstudent's *** out by the vet school and then coming back to ask where the vet school was located was priceless (even though I can't find the thread).
Several Packers went out to catch and document the fight, but a certain someone did not show up, and was never heard from on the board again.

Mike Slive ran away with the competition. In a bracket that received mention on two regional sports talks radio (Clay Travis as a nominee and MorningVent), Mike Slive was the runaway winner .. From the official DDDY 2010 press release:
<span id="temp-1"><span>The scales seemed to tip in Slive's favor when a
picture of him simply sitting on his *** while Jarvis Varnardo was
being recognized for breaking the college basketball shot block record.
Officiating controversies in both football and basketball got Slive to a
No. 5 seed. A $1 million bonus from the SEC was perfect timing for a
run to the 2010 DDDY.
Slive becomes the lowest seed to ever
reach the DDDY final and therefore win it. He is also the first
non-poster to win the coveted douchebag award.
"My boy Mike is
the shiznet," said Derek Dunn, the awards namesake. "He really punked
that wannabe. We're gonna go out tonight and do some shots to celebrate.
My boy is going to have to pay though. He just got a cool mil and you
******** ain't buying Hondas like you should. Now I'm going to go have
sex with your mothers."</span></span>
