The weekday after the last pitch is thrown in State's baseball season is traditionally the day that the official DDDY (known hereinafter by its acronym only) process begins.

DDDY V will be as exciting as ever. Questions to ponder:

Will Mike Slive defend his title and become the first DDDY winner to win a second time?
Or will Kenny Rogers, Cecil or Cam Newton, or another party in the Cam Newton saga win?
What about Ole Miss Grad, that asshat is definitely in the running ..
But the biggest question is - will four time participant Coach34 fail to make the field in the biggest DDDY of them all?

I think Peaches is in serious danger of not making the tournament. usually he gets in with good stansbury bashing in a moderately successful season but let's face it, basketball was a cluster17 this year and it was all warranted. I think you've got to have Sidney on that list for sure though.

looking in. The Newton fiasco has spawned so many possiblities; and yes, Sydney should be given some consideration for his shittastic performance on and off the court.

Douchebag was so busy defending the Cam Decision that he let the OSU tatoo gang go ahead and play in the Sugar Bowl.

And you'd still be leaving worthy contenders out.<div>
</div><div>As for Coach34, he needs to go 'all in' if he wants a shot at it. I recommend a full on assault on Cohen and hope we win the last 2 series.</div>

successful football season, followed by a cluster-17 in basketball pretty much finished me off. My drunken tirade from New Orleans wont be enough to carry me I'm afraid

With the basketball team going to Amsterdam and UPig hiring Mike Anderson, there is some real potential for me to have a big year next season though.

<span style="font-weight: bold;">DDDY I</span>
It was an innocent question of the Six Pack. There wasn't much going on. Football was Croomtastic. Basketball and baseball were underachieving. Does everyone know about that guy at Rick's? He dresses like a douche. A few stories were told. His My Space page was linked (Turtle Power!) A few laughs were shared. Then it happened. A post entitled "Why are ta'll so jealous of Derek?" appeared. The original poster - one of the douche's posse - Leigh Anne.

Myspace was kind to the Pack again - a picture of the infamous Leigh Anne appeared. More laughs were shared. Mr. Ed was insulted. It all culminated with an award, that was named in the first recipient's honor.

<span style="font-weight: bold;">DDDY II</span>
Baseball had some success. Justin Pigott had shut down Florida State in their regional, and in a controversial move, LT did something positive for Mississippi State, and possibly swayed the committee to give MSU the host over Clemson in the super regional. Clemson fans were livid - they had an argument, but not a strong one. A poster named PJs made his way to the Six Pack, and let us know about GTOs and why Clemson should have hosted.

He ran his mouth for a while, but obviously forgot that his MySpace username was the same as his posting name - and his MySpace profile was wide open. The week culminated in a sweep of Clemson that resulted in members of the Six Pack in right field sporting signs about GTOs and even throwing banana peels onto the field.

<span style="font-weight: bold;">DDDY III</span>
It was about this time that the Six Pack was taking off - Coach had solidified himself and earned a No. 1 seed in DDDY III. However he could not be outdone by the No. 2 seed Dustin Dawg. That threat to kick Dawgstudent's *** out by the vet school and then coming back to ask where the vet school was located was priceless (even though I can't find the thread).

Several Packers went out to catch and document the fight, but a certain someone did not show up, and was never heard from on the board again.

<span style="font-weight: bold;">DDDY IV</span>
Mike Slive ran away with the competition. In a bracket that received mention on two regional sports talks radio (Clay Travis as a nominee and MorningVent), Mike Slive was the runaway winner .. From the official DDDY 2010 press release:

<span id="temp-1"><span>The scales seemed to tip in Slive's favor when a
picture of him simply sitting on his *** while Jarvis Varnardo was
being recognized for breaking the college basketball shot block record.
Officiating controversies in both football and basketball got Slive to a
No. 5 seed. A $1 million bonus from the SEC was perfect timing for a
run to the 2010 DDDY.

Slive becomes the lowest seed to ever
reach the DDDY final and therefore win it. He is also the first
non-poster to win the coveted douchebag award.

"My boy Mike is
the shiznet," said Derek Dunn, the awards namesake. "He really punked
that wannabe. We're gonna go out tonight and do some shots to celebrate.
My boy is going to have to pay though. He just got a cool mil and you
******** ain't buying Hondas like you should. Now I'm going to go have
sex with your mothers."</span></span>

Wasn't it almost a whole year from when Clemson guy showed up here until he received his award? That was a strong early season DDDY performance.

was simply some of the most fun a human being should be allowed to have. Good times.

615...I think if a non-poster wins the DDDY V, that you should have a category for DDDPY (Derrick Dunn Dubmass Poster of the Year). That keeps Coach in the game.

Derek went from "having enough money to never have to work" to selling Hondas in Brandon. He's not listed on the Bob Boyte website anymore, but I once saw him having lunch at Abner's wearing a Honda polo shirt.

An internet search of pjs1087 says he plays a lot of poker.

Dustin Dawg disappeared after that night - I can imagine he still lives at the trailer park on the Tenn Tom in Columbus

Mike Slive is still doing his thing.

Squeaking Noise as I Roll into Gear
</div>
_________________________________________________

<div id="post_message_7678830">

I have a 2004 M6 with about 72,000 miles on it. I've recently noticed
that when I'm rolling off the clutch in 1st gear, 9 times out of 10
there is some kind of squeaking noise. It happens for about 1 second and
then stops as I get on the throttle. I've also noticed it has happened a
few times just after I've completely released the clutch, rather than
during.

Any idea what this might be? It only happens when I'm accelerating from a stop or slow roll in 1st gear.

It kinda sucks to have this great sounding SLP exhaust be introduced by a
chirp every time I take off. Any insight or help would be greatly
appreciated.

Strong regular season performance, but either too many injuries (excellent posts on football and baseball) or bad matchups in the early rounds, and you can never make it to the Sweet 16.

without having Stansbury way above him. Without Stansbury constantly covering up for him, and always placing the blame on someone else, Sydney wouldn't even be here. If Sydney is a 4 seed, Stansbury is a 1 or 2 seed.
