you really pissed off one of the dozen or so die-hard Southern fans...

And no Amy, one game doesn't make you a bad team. However, State fans have plenty of first hand knowledge on what constitutes a bad team (see 2000 - 2008 for the most recent point of reference), so we are quite adept at judging football skill based on as little data as even one game.

He left right after halftime.,,and posted on facebook

when I commented on this saying he was fully in favor of canning Bowers he responded that he was wrong...and he admits it.

That was an old fashioned spurrier beatdown tonight.

Who's more worried about himself looking pretty on the sideline than his team performing on the field. USM clearly laid an egg when they got rid of Bower... Now they have to pay 4 times as much for more horrid teams and mediocrity in a shitball conference.

Firing Bower was a mistake. Hiring Fedora was a bigger mistake. He's a big talker, but he's a bad football coach. He's from the Mike Leach school of coaching defense, but he's no Mike Leach on the offensive side of the ball.</p>

It's kind of like where we are with Stansbury. Just I am afraid what could happen on the other side.

The fact is no fan base will ever be completely satisfied with any coach no matter how good he does. You ALWAYS want to be a little better. But if you let that cloud your judgment you can make some very big mistakes. You're right to be afraid of what could happen on the other side if we were to get rid of Stansbury. Because the overwhelming odds are that it won't be as good as what we've had for the past decade in basketball.
