A Simple Reason For Losing Last Night

my view from high above Jordan Hare last night showed a glaring, obvious weakness......we do not have the players Auburn has. Either Auburn is incredibly fast or we are incredibly slow, especially on defense. They have a of skill players who constantly beat us to the corners even when we had angles. Our receivers could not get any seperation from the Auburn dbacks....T Lee had few opportunities to complete passes because many of the times absolutely noone was open. Auburn's db's shut our guys down. To me, it was about speed.....a total lack of it.

On Auburn's first scoring drive I was thinking we are just one step behind on every play. Also seemed like we were on our heels not really attacking on D. And the sideline catches right behind the corner and in front of the safety, they ate our lunch with those passes. Torbush has got to get his **** together.

Those sideline routes hammer cover two....I could really tell from the camera but from the amount of success that auburn had <font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #00ff00">throwing</font> over the cb between the safeties it seemed we ran ALOT of cover two. That is a uber conservative defence to run against a team with the caliber running backs auburn has.
