and a UPig loss = alone in 5th place
and an LSU win = us 2 1/2 games ahead of da Bears
and an Auburn win over Georgia puts us 2 up on Georgia

Those would be the most desired outcomes because:

We have to go to Florida next weekend- where winning 1 will be a good weekend- 2 would be a dream
Auburn goes to UPig next weekend- UPig will win at least 2/3
Tennessee travels to Oxford- got to have Tennessee win a game
Georgia hosts SC- and it will be tough, but Georgia could make up some ground with a couple of wins.

I think that the teams in the most danger of not making it are Vandy, Auburn, Georgia, MSU, in that order. That's with Bama and UT out. That's based purely on who they play. If we win today, I'd expect us to either need 1 more or to already be in. We'll probably get in as a 7 seed after Florida and Kentucky.

edit: nevermind, 10 seeds. I'm an old man. I need to go die in the secretary of state graveyard

at this point winning today don't look like it's going to be happening. Daryl "boot" Norris with another costly error with 2 outs that leads to 4 Bama runs and now it's 4-1. Bama.
