I was just pondering the over-all talent level of all conference teams and had a thought...
Would it be possible/fun to mock up an 'All-Conference Tournament' type bracket? What I was thinking was you'd have the All-SEC, All-ACC, All-Big 10, etc. teams, and each team gets a seed based on the number of teams from their conference that get bids to go to the NCAA tourney.
So looking at the latest bracketology you'd have big 10 and big east as 1 seeds, acc and big 12 as 2 seeds, etc.
Then, and this is where it gets tricky to me, have some method for comparing successes within the tourney...like every time a team from the big 10 beats another conference team they earn a point, or something like that.
I'm not sure that's the best approach but just shooting from the hip...anyway it was just a thought so I figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone wanted to take the idea and run with it.
