to the hospital himself, that's a sure-fire way to not be charged. It shows clear non-intent.

And good on the neighbor for running to tell the dad he saw the girl being carried away. There's a lot more detail in other articles. Also, because of where this occured:

The one big difference is premeditation of course. But it's hard to fault the parents in either case. </p>

Once you have little kids it's easy to understand how someone could react like that. If someone tried to molest my son I'd go bananas and probably rip them apart. The coroner would think a bear or bigfoot mauled them.

If anything, a liberal jury is less likely to send this man to prison. But even if its even, why bring politics into a thread where 100% of this board agrees, regardless of political views?

..if one of those boys fathers had just shown up unannounced, this whole ordeal could have been handled much quicker and a whole lot cheaper.

I suspect that McQueary would have acted much differently and would have wiped the floor with Sandusky. Apparently he didn't have sufficient motivation when it was a kid he didn't know. How many of us would have stopped it then and there? We're not sure what we would do in reality, but I think most of us would say they would jump right in. But would we, really? I don't know. If it was our own kid, then there's no doubt. Remember that Sandusky was someone who McQueary knew, or at least knew of and may have revered to a certain extent, and was much higher on the food chain that McQueary was even though he was not still employed by the team.

Have stepped in the very instant they became aware of it. No question I'd have done everything in my power to stop it that instant. If you hesitate or have to think about it, you're no better than the one committing the act.

If it were me, 2 minutes after it happened. Sandusky would be unconscious on the shower floor, the kid would be with me, and the REAL cops and EMT's would be on the way.
