For comparisons sake
If you compare the 3 teams opponents that they have played so far (subtracting the win/loss for when they played each opponennt.)
Richlands: 43-22: Opponents win 66% of their games
Glenvar: 34-23: Opponents win 59% of their games
Appomattox: 33-25 Opponents win 56% of their games
Richlands has handed two opponents (Bluefield, Abingdon) their only losses of the year while their only loss came to undefeated Union.
Glenvar has handed one opponent (Giles) its only loss
Appomattox has handed one opponentt (Buckingham) its only loss.
There is the numbers for "who have they played"
Personally the teams play who's on the schedule. As long as they are taking care of business that is what I pay attention to.
Outside of the opening two games against two very good teams, Appomattox hasn't really played a close game with an average margin of victory of 25 points.
Outside of its 1 point loss to Union, Richlands next closest game is 15 points with an average margin of victory of 37 points.
Glenvar has had one game decided by 5 points an one decided by 2 yet their average margin of victory is still 25 points
Basically all three 3 are very good. Personally no one has proven they can slow Richlands down. That is why I have them as my favorite.
Glenvar has scored more than 21 points 4 times, only twice on teams with a winning record.
Appomattox has scored more than 21 in every game since week 3, but only 3 of those teams have winning records. Richlands has only scored under 42 one time, which they scored 41. So when someone proves they can slow down that offense then I will think about changing who my favorite is
