Abram featured on hard knocks

Just got done with episode 1 and not surprisingly, hard knocks will be featuring Abram as one of the guys followed. He has already been reprimanded about being too physical, but they know he is going to be a monster. There is also an Ollie sighting from last chance U.

Gruden opens with this leading monologue about dreams coming true and then breaks into “I’m not into dreams anymore....I’m into 17ing nightmares”...well mr gruden, you are getting exactly that with Jonathan Abram.

Yeah, Abram is excited obviously. But man, in one episode he said Gruden couldn't fire him. He then went hardcore during basically walk through and then talked money with Derek Carr when Carr was taking him out to dinner. Funny yes. But its business time now man.

Only thing I didn’t like was him telling Gruden that he couldn’t cut him. When he realized Gruden wasn’t 17ing around, his tone quickly changed and his responses were “Yes, sir.” It’s just immaturity that he’ll grow out of. I remember myself at 21-22 years old. I imagine I would have been an insufferable dick with a few million in the bank.

I thought he was saying they couldn’t cut block him. Gruden was telling him when the pads came on the blockers were going to be looking to cut him. Maybe i misunderstood.

this is it...he was talking about a cut block "nobody can cut me" was in reference to anyone on the team trying to cut block. context matters. gruden had just gotten done talking about sending someone to cut block him.

Abram may need to keep his head on a swivel if he keeps running his mouth. Incognito probably. Btw, Incognito came off much better than I pictured him. Down to earth. Stable. Intelligent.
Abram appears to be a good guy. He is just extroverted. I hope they make him sing our fight song.

I thought that was talking about cut blocking also but maybe not now that its mentioned. Have to rewatch but as a football nerd, I thought for sure it was cut blocking.

I watched last night first time....Ollie needs reality check...

Guy didn't get it in LCU either....didnt follow him at McNeese.....he is in the real world now....I was surprised he even got an invite as undrafted free agent.....he just doesn't want it bad enough....I would expect to see him working at a dollar general soon....
