1 the new defensive focus....has already faded away, slow of foot
2 the crashing the boards...pitiful
3 the movement on offensive...its a plodding offense
4 feed the post when there is a huge size advantage...nah, we still don't know how
5 dylan grant is a shooter...not really, he has a drive move that is easily scouted now
6 badalau the shooter...joke
7 zrno the shooter...worse than a joke
8 their coach >>>> our coach

I've never had optimism for this year, but this is gonna be the norm sadly. Pike f'd up and he has done what he could. Of course we are stuck with another albatross contract.

It's very hard to feel optimistic about the state of Rutgers athletics in this new era of NIL, easy transfer rules etc. Pike is not suited for this era . His forte is developing players but when teams turnover virtually 100% every year, there's no development. And unfortunately this version Rutgers basketball is awful. Unlike past bad Pike teams , this team does not excel in any area of basketball-poor defense , poor rebounding, and no offensive talent. In other words, no upside, no hope. Just awful.

C’on guys… are we really surprised??

Its so hard to root for Rutgers. New team every year…and no winning….by the time you get to know the kids they leave and most have to drop down a level or two…

Zinn has her work cut out for her BIG time. Not only NIL and recruiting but also buyouts to get NIL era coaches.

Need to stop using NIL as an excuse. Pike and staff are paid handsomely to figure this out.

I wish I could use something like NIL as an excuse to turn in crappy performances to my boss.
It’s an excuse when you lose to Michigan, Michigan State, etc. it’s not an excuse when you lose to CCSU at home and their players and coach are clearly better.

Don't hate on Central Connecticut ... they only lost by 22 to Quinnipiac. They have an excellent chance of not finishing dead last in whatever conference they are in that I have never heard of. I'm looking forward to next season - maybe Pike will have three lottery picks and we will comfortably make the Big Ten conference tournament.

This is the worst lost of the pike era

Thoroughly dominated by an NEC opponent

The coaches and players were so thoroughly outclassed tonight that Shelby can’t spin this any way to be more critical of Schiano than of Pike, at least until tomorrow at noon.
