No but a decent coach could put players out there that are interested in actually standing in the lane as UM drives to the rim over and over and over again to erase a 12 point lead. This team is soft and lazy and that starts with the coach, if that's what you can call Stansbury.
But if you can't watch the last 6-8 minutes and see that our team lacks leadership and toughness, then I can't help you. We play more like a team full of freshmen than an experienced ball club. Our defensive effort during that stretch was abyssmal. Basically standing around and watching them drive the lane or take uncontested shots from the arc. I would have called a timeout and chewed their asses out. That's what I expect to see from our coach. Do you think that Mullen would stand around and clap while watching that abortion? No way.
