Unless there's a quality reclass or a portal add that wants to be a backup, this just shifts Jasper to backup PG.

Lewis’ dad may have been a bit more than Pope wanted to deal with as well.
The Jaland Lowe commitment probably spurred this. Lewis has no positional flexibility and needs a clear path to starting, if not in year 1 then at least in year 2.
