From FB and Joe Adams:

Spoke with Acadens dad last night, it was mutual decision. Acaden when recruited felt what was explained has changed based on transfer portal focuses.

Jarrett states they will take 48hrs and phone is already blowing up.

So mutual decision if true. Pope has another plan?
No surprise he would speak to a fake like Joe Adams, as far as mutual decision BS.

Zero Chance Joe Adams spoke to Mr. Lewis in prison. The internet needs to stop playing into his delusions.
He’s not in prison at this time I don’t believe he was just now pleaded guilty/waiting to be sentenced. Don’t know when he reports.

Don't forget unc he and caleb wilson are big buddies and Ian left unc . I could see them being a major player for him oh well back to the fishing hole . I am glad he left now we don't need attitude adjustments during the season
Maybe he will go there with Caleb and they can lose 15 games next year!

Caleb chose a school that 18 years of academic fraud, Lewis probably will go there, I guess that asterisk beside the Carolina* name wouldn't bother him.

OT to Acaden look at another NIL related fiasco. UT QB trying to renegotiate a deal he signed out of high school. They agreed to a multi year deal worth 8 million and it’s still not good enough. 2.4 million this year isn’t cool anymore SMH. So now he’s skipping practice. These. “Contracts” have to change so the school has some sort of recourse.

It'll never happen, but I'd love it if ALL the schools got together and said something like "we're ending our sports, and when we come back athletes can cash in on their degrees." I know, a pipe dream :(

Something has to change, even pro athletes can be fined and suspended. These guys get all the benefits of yearly Free Agency with non of the drawbacks.

One thing with Wilkerson. I don’t love that his IU visit is 2 days and everybody else’s is just a day. I still feel good that if he makes it to Sunday he is ours
Ugh that’s not good, I thought he may prefer Indiana. They have a lot of PT and money. Plus he played there last year and was really Impressed. We have to get him on campus and get a commitment before he leaves, add Acaden’s NIL to his previous offer or at least up it above what IU is offering.

Idk if he prefers them or not. Just listening to what he wants. Fit and play style are high, our system would be the perfect fit for him

Do we know if half of today was maybe a travel day? The UK reporting is our visit starts Sunday morning and we aren’t very far from Bloomington. 1 1/2 days vs 1 isn’t so bad. If it truly is 2 full days vs 1 full day I agree with you, not the best.

We have a legit shot at Wilkerson.
Lee is probably Florida, but it’s not a done deal, we may get a visit.
I would say Lee wants to run the show at PG and he won’t come here to battle Lowe for the starting spot there. Only way I could see it work is if they both start and one is cool playing off the ball.

I think Wilkerson would be the better fit as the last piece of the backcourt puzzle.

It’s crazy to see how people think that AL was afraid of competition and that’s why he de- committed. It has nothing to do with playing time or him being afraid of competition.

If was not for the family issue he would still be a Kentucky player. They needed more money and Kentucky didn’t want to contribute more or to be associated the type of family issues. So leaving win/ win for both parties.

AL has no fault in this. He is just trying to help his family under very unfortunate circumstances . Wish him good luck!

Let’s stop bashing players on social media after they make a decision, especially if we don’t know what was the underlying reasoning . We are just making Pope’s job just harder to recruit HS player harder in the future.

All it was. Plain simple.
