Don't get mee wrong I would rather have Grayson...However given he was also DPOY, and their more elevated status this year ( our slide out of the rankings didnt help) I think it pulls it out for MB...

Brogdon was the best player in the ACC. The only other player in consideration for POY was Brice Johnson.

Trips or no trips by Greyson it's was Brogdens. Putting up those numbers playing at that slow a pace is pretty remarkable. The voting was not close if he beat Johnson by that much Greyson was not getting it. Glad to see Blossomgame get on too he pretty much was all Clemson had, well deserved. I think the ACC got it right, if Buzz at VT had got Coach of the year that would have been ok too as he had way less to with with up in Hokieville.

They got it right best player on the best team won it even though Grayson is probably the best player in the league

In what universe was Marcus Paige one of the 15 best players in the ACC this year? My guess there is that it is the writers trying to save a little face after voting him Preseason POY twice in a row, and him not being in the conversation either time. They would look even more stupid if their Presason POY didn't even make honorable mention.
