I always looked at the ACC as decent in football. They've been really competitive in conference over the past few years which is why I believe the problem with them is that there's too much parity in the middle. You have your FSU's and VT's that are pretty much consistently at the top but all of the other schools below them are almost practically even with the exception of Duke and Virginia.<div>
</div><div>Hell...this week, they showed that they could at least compete against decent to really good teams. From the looks of it, Miami practically dominated tOSU (which really shouldn't be a surprise), Clemson defeated Auburn and FSU kept it pretty close against the number 1 team in the nation. I just can't agree that the conference is filled with crappy and mediocre football. It is there, no doubt...but I can't say it's filled with it.</div>

It makes me wonder if we really will pull any ACC teams. $20 mil is a lot to fork over to switch conferences. I'm also scared that we'll end up grabbing WVU... Out of all the teams that are possible, they are definitely one of the schools I do not want to see in the SEC.

I am nervous about the thought of them in the conference, but I think we are safe from them. I have not read anything that seems to indicate the SEC is interested in them, other than WVU message boards who all have a feeling that it's a done deal.

Cinncinatti and Louisville look to be heading back to CUSA, unless the Big 10 saves them. I see the Big 10 going after bigger names than Cincinatti and Louisville though . Maybe Notre Dame one last time and then Missouri .Rutgers probably belongs in the A-10 anyway.

Why doesnt the Big 12 go after TCU now to replace TexasA&M. That would make the most sense

let Cincy in the Big 10. Imagine UT/UK's reaction to Memphis/Louisville wanting to join the SEC. With the implosion of the Big East looming (I can hear the college hoops analysts sobbing already), looks like it's back to CUSA for them.
