Our conference needs a lot better result in this year’s challenge. Last year’s 14-2 SEC domination was a result that the conference couldn’t recover from when it came to NCAA tourney selection and seeding.

The first three results are in, and the ACC has already matched last year’s win total with wins by Syracuse (over Tennessee) and Virginia Tech (over South Carolina). On the downside, Pitt lost at home to Texas A&M and Oklahoma routed Wake Forest.

Duke squeaks by Florida 67-66, giving the ACC a 3-2 lead in the challenge. 4 more games tonight, including UNC at UK.

ACC leads 6-3 after day 1. UNC knocked off UK in Lexington. Cat fans cannot be happy with losses to UofL, Michigan State and now a home loss to UNC.

Home court wasn’t any advantage last night, as home teams went just 3-6. Let’s hope that trend continues tonight in Arkansas!

Per the ESPN predictor model, of the 7 remaining games, UofL is the only ACC team predicted to win tonight.
Looking at the line-up, night 1 was ACC heavy. However, if Clemson is any good, perhaps they could upset Alabama. We need some upsets tonight. Hopefully the ACC can bring this home.

And UVA was the only one to win. ACC is a hot mess again this year. At least early

Well now I guess our UK fan friends can chant "SEC! SEC! SEC!" and not feel bad about it.

I mean they do that in football. Now they can do that in hoops.
