I'll do it with anything but money just because I don't really ever "bet"but I'll take anything u want to come up with.. What's the wager?
And if he leaves he'll be William Avery 2.0 he may think he's ready and he deff would get drafted(not high enough to leave early) but he won't last in the league. He needs to follow the JJ and Kyle mold and stay and develop and he'll have a long career in the league

I thought the same thing skysdad, but I realized I had to vent to my fellow Duke fans or else I was just going to be sitting here with all of these thoughts and no one to vent to.
Unfortunately I was in the "Grayson will be back next year camp." After what I saw when he fouled out, he's going to the league. Sucks cause I would love for him to be back but he's gotta do what's best.
In regards to the game, very frustrated on blowing a 16 point lead. Hopefully the 7 days off will help them rest up and refocus!

I think Grayson's decision isn't made until after the NCAA tourney.. Because if he has an amazing Tourney, he could move himself into a possible late lottery pick.. If he has a horrible Tourney, he could be a 2nd rounder..
Where as Ingram will be a top 2 pick regardless if he has a great or horrible Tourney.

I don't get your comment the kid went off against nc state and your trying to tell me because he's a freshman, that he should do it every game especially in a more physical college game in back to back days?
I didn't say he should get benched. I like him starting this year for duke to have a chance. He just can't have that bad of a game ever. Offense, defense and effort were awful.
As for matt, i don't like the idea of him getting big minutes on next years team.
He does not need to go off every game, but you cant have that bad of a game ever. Offense defense and effort were awful. It was the acc tournament, no excuse for the lack of focus and effort.
I'm just curious, and trust me, I'm not picking on you because so many posters say these things....but how does one surmise a player had no focus and gave no effort? If he had hit two or three more shots would his effort and focus been better? I guess I don't understand.
K and Grayson talked about it in the presser. If you haven't seen it, it's 14 minutes well spent.
It's a down Duke year, and still fortunate to be ranked and had a lot of exciting games. For the most part Duke was competitive in most of the games they lost. It's a great bunch of young men that fought hard. I'd take this type of down year over any the Tarheels have had in the last several years. So if we get bounced in the first round, oh well, we didn't get stuck goin to the NIT tourney. It's also a down year and we have a great coach behind this team getting them ready so who knows what could happen. Win or lose I love em. This ain't the first loss or the worse loss we've ever had so get over it and move on.

Lack of defense? Effort? I thought he did both and then the team as a whole in the second half did bad. So you don't take into account it's his first ACC tourney? The kid was tired you could see it mid way through the first half yet he helped establish a 16 point lead he also wasn't the only one who helped lose the lead.
Are you his coach? So your telling and 18 year old that he can't be tired or have a bad game. Come on. He's a freshman who's did more then enough this year to help us win
Luke's actually pretty good w/his off hand and I thought it was in! In fact the way Brey kept calling TOs, I thought he was playing into K's hands-we were out of TOs...
luke has finished with his right plenty of times this yr, but going to his left and shooting a right handed shot seemed odd to me.
Well at the buzzer on a sideline OB play I was THRILLED when I saw it leave his hand...I mean I would take the same shot again under the circumstances...

As far as today goes we're spoiled...We are Duke, and dont blow 16pt 2nd half leads...Clemson fans may expect it, but we do not...Regardless of tiredness,fouls, etc, we should have won today...Players had closed door meeting in locker room postgame, and I think they're angry and win 2 next week!
Really loved listening to K in the presser praise and defend Grayson.
Just watched it. K is a class act. Pointed out what our team could have done better, but gave all the credit to ND. No excuses. ND played better when it mattered.

not hustling back on d, sloppy lazy turnovers, a few other close calls on turnovers because of a lack of effort. I get your question. It's not about his percentages. Although i do believe bettrr focus would have led to smarter plays, shots, etc and more points.
I agree he wasn't the only reason duke lost. Tired? That's a joke, k in presser said some players never get tired. There is a reason for that, its mental focus. Watch his effort in the 2nd half. Very lazy. He had the brutal turnover that led to easy layup, then next play down almost did it again because no focus or effort. I'm a luke fan, but he really confused me this year with his unbelievably inconsistent shot and focus.
