Tobias Smith "got nicked" in yesterday's scrimmage. What say ye, posters of Six Pack? I say the guy is a massive injury risk on the level of Money Mike. Any snaps we get out of him in a live game are a bonus and completely unexpected. Change my mind.

we saw him limping off the field at halftime. It just doesn't look like it's in the cards for him to ever be a factor for us. It's unfortunate too since he's one of our better linemen. He just can't stay healthy though. And when you can't stay healthy, you don't play.

They think I'm rooting for the guy to get hurt when I say "It's just a matter of time until Tobias gets hurt. Never count on him. Ever." He's 2 for 2 in season ending injuries and now has been nicked in a spring game. It's not his talent that's in question, it's his ability to stay healthy. And history says he can't do that.

Tobias doesn't seem to be very hurt. Word is he just caught a helmet in the knee, but was fine after the game.

I agree w/ ya SPDawg. It sure seems like it's just a matter of time before he gets hurt again.

that he is a massive injury risk. And while it's a knock against him, it's a knock backed up with facts.

1 point South Panola.

Dear SixPack,

I posted this gem on BDJ:

"You're counting on a guy who has proven
nothing other than he stays injured, and I'm an idiot? Wow, great logic
there. No one doubts the guy's ability to play. I doubt his ability to
stay healthy. He made it all of 3 snaps last season. I hope he stays
healthy and dominates, but counting on him to do so is stupid at this
point. If he plays, it's a bonus I'm not expecting. If he doesn't,
there's no loss because you weren't planning to have him. I know you
coached him and love him, so spare me. To everyone but you, he's a
massive injury risk.
"

And a poster replied:

"I AM a coach. And I don't call two injuries..."Injury Prone". Your
information about the MAN is wrong also....he didn't play 3 snaps...he
played 87 snaps last year and EVERY drive he played on the OFFENSE
scored a Touchdown.

I am not mad at you for your stupid opinion SPD....you just don't know
what your talking about...Here is hoping that you and Tobias have the
opportunity to meet sometime."

At that point, I had no reply and like most other people who put their foot in their mouth or cant admit they are wrong, I came over here, told half the story, and called them sheep because...well...I didnt have anything to say. Please help!

Sincerely,

SouthPanolaDawg

P.S. Tyler Russell is a bust!

I understand he coached the guy. 2 season ending injuries is injury prone. Period. And wanting your former player to kick my ***? Big man with an internet threat. I'm shaking. Really.

try to kick your ***. He might hurt himself. aGAIN.

I hate to knock a town, but having been a part of the Columbus community, some of those people are a little unstable. Moreso than any other community I've been around. It's a nice town, and I like it, but this sounds like something par for the course from some of the people I have met there.

I know I've posted on the Tyson Lee fan club here before. Of course, the guy was from Columbus and everytime someone would say something remotely bad about Tyson it was "Why don't you suit up and go out there and see how you do?"

I've also gotten an Internet threat from an adult on a HIGH SCHOOL baseball message board because a guy from Columbus was talking about how classless the Tupelo fans were. All I bascially said was, "Well, they ARE high school kids- you shouldn't really expect them to act like, you know, adults." And then the guy sends a PM threatening to kick my ***. Ironic. And not classy.

Then you've got the guy that wanted to kick Dawgstudents *** from guess where?

That's too many people for it to be a coincidence. I don't know what the hell is wrong with those people. Too much estrogen from the W? Too much Tennesee Williams? Something in the Tombigbee? Crazy.

actually went to someone's house to fight them over some comments on the Daily Journal blog when Ellis was still there? If so, you're probably serious.

because I pissed him off so bad. At least get the **** right.

And I may be from there, but I doubt anyone hates their hometown as much as I do. Left 8 years ago and have only been back once. Columbus drains the life and intelligence out of its residents.
