Wait just a minute. I have heard for decades from the delusional Old Fold & Blew faithful that WVU's team was "undefeated" and had an "undefeated season," so WVU couldn't have lost its last and most important game of that season. Hell, I even saw a jabroni proudly sip from a WVU "undefeated season" coffee mug. I'm sure that not including the word, "regular" in between "undefeated" and "season" was merely an oversight.
I can't answer your legitimate query, perhaps they were speaking of 1993 season where they were 10-0-1 going into the Sugar Bowl, but wait Florida beat all the **** out of them as well in that tilt, so can't be it either! You'll have to ask them for clarification!
Well, well, well. I see the Marshall crowd still celebrating because we lost in a National Championship game 3 decades ago. I offer no excuses, no woulda, shoulda, coulda's here. We got beat soundly. BUT the thing is we were competing for the National Championship at the highest level of college football. Something Marshall has never done and probably never will be able to accomplish. Now go on back and polish your National JV Championship trophy.

Soccer is about as relevant as cricket or rifle. I won't get into smack talk on either "sport"............. I only care about football and basketball, where WVU has proven to be superior to Marshall for generations.

Anybody who lives in West Virginia who doesn't root for the Old Fold & Blew was ecstatic when your Walmart t-shirt team was thumped by Notre Dame and Florida. Y'all are insufferable without having won a title, so one can only imagine how bad you'd be if you'd ever won even one NCAA title in either football or basketball.
