According to Paul Jones @ BDJ, the DB that caught Wilder from behind

was a walk-on by the name of Bure if I'm not mistaken. He won all of the speed drills that the team went through. The guy is obviously very fast.

Paul also reported this conversation he had with Robert Elliott: <span style="font-weight: bold;">He said walk-on db Marvin Bure won all the speed drills this spring and was bragging last week. He challenged everyone in the locker room to a race and Robert accepted it.</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Rob said Bure won the first race because he slipped in the beginning. So they raced again (the length was about 40 yards) and Rob won by three yards, he said.

Sorry Bruiser.

I was afraid he would never be the player he had the potential to be after blowing his knee up.</p>

but it was Croom and his staff that had the problem with that decision. So should we be surprised that things went the opposite direction of what that retard thought?

what can happen when a player decides to take the advice of a competent doctor.

I remember the outrage that many self professed doctors showed when it came out he had a second procedure. Looks as though it will work out.

Elliott stayed in the "Pit" and did sit-ups for about an hour. The "Pit" is where the injured players go on the sidelines and do sit-ups, push ups or some stretching drills when they can't practice/play. I looked down and I figured they were being punished for something, then I found out on the CSS broadcast what they were actually doing.

to make sure that you only get to sit out from practice if you are really injured?

there is a distinct difference between hurt and injured.

On the CSS replay that I recorded, they said that Mullen put police tape up around the injured players and they had to stay inside the "crime scene" and work out. No one could come inside, unless they were hurt. If they were hurt, they couldn't walk outside of the police tape. I saw pictures of this on BDJ a couple of weeks ago.

Elliot and a few other guys spend the whole game on the sidelines going through exercise routines - crunches, planks, supermans, etc...
