How in the blue hell can a SEC west team have a worse SOS that a CUSA team?

Damned if we wouldn't have had a higher SOS if we had played any of 75 or so other teams than them.

about everybody on here lauding Gee's statements. You KNOW that poindexter wouldn't run his yap about something like that when he was in charge at Vanderbilt, but give him a school like tOSU and their bloated athletic budget, and suddenly he's defending all the "haves" like the classic schoolyard bully, while scheduling Akron, Toledo and Directional Michigan and hiding behind the Big 10's "strength."

Also, they expect me to believe that Oregon's is supposed to be at 19 and Stanford's is at 8? Why the hell is all of the Pac-10 team's rankings so damn high?

Those are the Sagarin ratings, not the SOS. USM is ranked 99 in SOS, and Mississippi is 39. We're 32.

but at least they were able todominate an SEC team on the road earlier in the season. Of course, they beatthe 85thranked bears by 14 at the intimidating ROCK.....ugh, meant Vaught.</p>
