I think so, for women it is anyway. Since I have girls. They are growing up with the confidence in themselves that men used to. The moral decay only applies to Christian principles and morality. Women are coming into the workplace and kicking ***.

I went through high school in the early eighties and sex was very prevalent. It is today as well. Public or private, doesn't matter. What matters is how the kids are raised. I can say the "morals" are vastly different depending on the demographics.
Watching porn on your phone is. Widespread access to porn is. Widespread abortion is. Widespread drug use. Everything liberal is not good for a society. Out of wedlock child births condemning the mother and child to poverty isn't good.

The school I'm sending them to which they've already been accepted into has a 100% college matriculation rate.

Funny I just finished up this cycle with youth. Quite the opposite, actually. I discussed some of the challenges and temptations they are going to face, and are facing. We discussed porn, sexting, oral and anal sex, etc. I taught them that what God desires from us is purity until marriage, and that giving your partner the gift of noone to compare to, is abnormal in today's culture and something that would be indescribable to your future spouse, among other things
We discussed how far was ok, and how far wasn't. But we also talked about mistakes to temptations do happen, and what to do if that were to happen.
Do I expect them all to remain pure? Absolutely not. Do I want them attempting to honor God? Absolutely. That's what I expect of my kids and stepkids as well. I think my girls are better behaved than my boys. I love them all the same.

I guess I have just been passed by. Late 40s - early 50s was very difficult to find sex partner near your age. Not impossible, but very difficult to connect unless it was much lower desired girl. 7th and 8th grades were near impossible. I could not score, but remember at least three undesirables who hustled me. Pre-school thru 6th grade, not too difficult a task. HS - it was there, but had to invest semester of time and hell of lot of effort. High percent of both sexes graduated HS with virginity in tact.
Things have loosened up greatly if I am to believe what I am hearing here. Don't question it too much as I could see girls becoming much more aggressive. It is a different world than in the 50s. No, I've said repeatedly in this thread that the public school system my children would have to go to is below average. If I were to move a couple of miles away, then we would have a debate. I chose the area I'm in because I'm on the water and knew public school wouldn't be an options going in. You both continue to generalize my statements. Regardless, I would be willing to put mean average of the private against public 7 days a week. Are there good public school districts out there? Absolutely, let's not pretend that it's anything other than the exception though.
