I 100% agree. As I've always said, the State of Mississippi (and Memphis) is the obvious priority. Since we're located so close to Alabama, and Birmingham is almost as close as Jackson, we really have no choice but to go there. And like the article says, we should be able to get the kids Bama and Auburn don't get, and occasionally beat them like on Wilson and Beniquez Brown from Florence. The 5 hour radius Dan Mullen talks about almost has as much Alabama in it as Mississippi. Roughly double the amount of prospects there too. As many alums as there are in Alabama, no reason to not sell an 'Our State' message to them as well.
After that, the priority should be south to Louisiana, MS Coast, Mobile and Pensacola. Even further really to the Eastern TZ. No reason we can't be a second choice for LA kids. As I've said many times, the Coast is no man's land. May as well get our share. That goes for baseball as well.
