Great. Now I know what will dominate the news for the next few weeks and become a new thing to bring up the constant gun grab.

I wonder if its terror related. It might have happened before and I somehow missed it, but a guy driving around and killing people randomly? That does happen in middle eastern countries....we will see.

This ******* is dodging the police too. He had this planned out

Gun shops are happy. Bout to make that $$$$ (Money, money. Yeah, yeah) off the people who think their guns are gonna get taken.

Because this (very broad generalization) happens every time: Mass shooting >>> Obama says guns are bad >>>> Paranoid types go buy all the guns and ammo >>> No guns are taken because Constitutional amendments are impossible to pull off via executive order.

Typical Red/Blue Fox/MSNBC Washington nonsense aside, I hope the person responsible is punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Blue Chevy HHR... I only ever see old white guys driving that.

But it's still act of terror no matter what the race.

We are so sorry this is going to inconvenience your daily life.

Yes, John, because that's what I said. I'm sorry this happened but the media is going to run this story into the ground until the next thing comes along to distract us.

We'll know the killer's entire life story within 48 hours and give it non-stop attention, which only encourages these types of lunatics. The Oregon community college killer cited this as one of his inspirations.

It's what the media does, you wouldn't know about this if they didn't. I don't agree that publicizing a mass murderers story creates another another murderer. Could be a small amount of encouragement but you have to first be touched in the head to even consider killing people.

You don't realize it but you're acting just like the bleeding heart liberals. The problem isn't guns, it's not the media, it is 100% the mental ill. They are going to find a way, and reason to go off if left untreated eventually. I don't know the correct way to treat these people but nine out of ten times their problems weren't exactly a secret. The failure in the system is the lack of action to stop these kind of people once identified.

I don't see how they can be stopped. It's unfortunate but the society we live in today. As more Islamic people move here it's only going to get worse.

maybe you should speak up when leaders state clearly they want to take guns

Talk and actions are two different things. Nobody is taking your guns. Surely you know how Constitutional Amendments work. Every Republican and any Democrat from anywhere remotely rural wouldn't touch the gun issue with a 400-foot pole.

It's all rhetoric that those of us who don't cheer for a team can easily see through. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the teams are in on it together. Ole Obama and the NRA people probably toasting bubbly right now to the amount of money they're all about to make off paranoid people who really think the gubment is gonna show up on their doorsteps and take their guns.

The lefties say "OMG gunz r bad. Let's regulate em!!!" to rile up their base.

The righties say "OMG the libs are gunna take our gunz, we should buy em all before it's too late!!!" to rile up their base.

Am I crazy? Is this **** really that hard to figure out?

This guy is no different than your run of the mill terrorist in that he is bat guano crazy. What difference does it make if you did it for your choice of God/religious beliefs/ideology, because you just ****ing hate your life or because your dog convinced you to do it? These people all have one thing in common in that they are bat **** crazy.

No offense, but you're the ignorant one. We have had one major disaster in this country, hurricane Katrina. And law enforcement went door to door confiscating law abiding citizens guns. People have gone to jail in this country for protecting themselves against home invasions because hand guns are banned in their particular city. Our capital, DC had a handgun ban for years until it was taken to the supreme Court.
You're clueless on this issue.

Of course they do, if they had enough support they would try. The only reason they don't is the fact that so many of us have them and that the NRA is a powerful lobby. The point that the Constitution guarantees our right to have them does not mean they could not try to take them away if enough support for doing so came about. Now, it would be very difficult to try and you would have a lot more people breaking the law and probably a lot of deaths involved. So, highly unlikely to try to get all of them, just as many types as they can until stopped. They tried before.
