Actual attendance?

No one knows, Mitch learned his lesson under Joker. When reporters started FOIA'ing the true attendance number, he stopped requesting them. If they're not requested, they're not recorded. If they're not recorded, media can't get a old of them. I'd say 15-18K tonight.

Anyone? Not tickets sold but actual people. 15,000? Hats off to them. No way I would have done that
I was there. There was more than 15,000. Probably close to 30,000. That's somewhat impressive considering the opponent and weather. It was absolutely brutal out there. There was absolutely no participation from students at all. It didn't look like there was even 100 people in the student section.

I was there. I'd say thats a fair estimate. It was cold, windy and wet.

30,000 fills the lower deck. There weren't that many there. Maybe 20. It was a rough night in the weather.

Yeah actually after watching the non attendance of the Pitt / ul game before leaving the house I thought my group would be the fans there so I was shocked to see so many fans. Now the snow storm scared a few off when it was 37-3 and as we ran all over them, folks were leaving continually to the end but it was a fun night.

30,000 is being very generous...

The lower bowl didn't fill...and folks started emptying out soon after the first score...

miserable weather...not an exciting game...

this game should've been a noon kick...might not have helped the attendance because i don't know that people were going to show for this one regardless...but it was less miserable earlier in the day...

Didn't see that in my area but did you stay until the end? There weren't many of us.

If you took all of the upper deckers and put them in the lower level, you might have filled the lower level pretty well. I'd put the attendance at around 25k before they deserted throughout the game. I deserted after JoJo's big run at the start of the 4th.

I've only left 3 games early in 22 years of having season tickets, but my son was sick and needed to leave.

Wasn't no place to be if he was getting ill for sure. By that time he was probably not only cold but wet. I hope he feels better tomorrow.

I'm sure the H-L will open record request the actual number of scanned tickets, but who cares. Kudos to the fans that were there. I'm not a big fan of the SEC scheduling cream puffs the second to last week of the regular season, but in Kentucky's case, it was a much needed victory and some valuable experience. An earlier kickoff would have been nice and I kept wondering why they had so many TV timeouts because I'm sure no one was watching either and I can't believe companies were lining up to buy commercial time for this game.

I was there as well. I couldn't see the press box upper deck but the other side had a lot more people than expected. I would lean more toward the 25-30k

My daughter attends and the students were missing because they had to move out of their dorms for Thanksgiving. They can't return until Sunday after Thanksgiving so they won't be at the UL game either. Great planning by the University

UK has classes scheduled Monday and Tuesday. Why would the students be moving out of the dorms?

The only lower section that was really empty was the student section. Maybe 25,000. It emptied out when the rain/snow started. We left after the pick 6. No problem getting out of the silver lot and out of Lexington. That's the fastest I've ever made it back home.

The east end zone was totally empty by 3Q. But they had that gawd-awful wind in their faces. Maybe they moved around to the side. The north upper level was brutal, too.
I bet if you took a poll, 125,000 people would say they were there. It was special for sure.

I came home and watched the replay, the snow on TV did it no justice like it did by being there. It was strange watching it blow so high around the stadium like an umbrella.
