Last nite's meeting was for the "Louisville community". I'm a college graduate and U of L alumnus. My meeting is Thursday...

Why not hire Heird it looks like we are becoming the place where lack of experience for the job is the number one criteria. I mean is a Head Coach, University President or Athletic Director really that important of a position to want experienced applicants?

I'm serious about this... The biggest advantage to hiring Heird is the same reason there's no rush to find his permanent replacement.

He's cheap.

Every meaningful athletics hire since clowns took over is/was paid less than his predecessor. Anyone want to debate me that's a coincidence?

We're small time players now, and that's an example of small time thinking. Wake and Boston College, here we come!!

Who knew about this meeting?? What Notification did UL send to the Community?? Anything in the new about it?? Anything on GoCards.com?? Any email to Season Tic Holders, General fan population? / NO,NO.NO.NO. Who at UL Sports would be responsible for getting this out to the General Public, about the where and win of a meeting. Who schedules, an important meeting like this. when have the Community is out of Town, on Spring Break Vacation! Who is responsible for this Total Fail. Fans should demand a Makeup meeting with plenty of notice!

It kind of shows the people running the show are totally incompetent or they are just screwing over their fan base. They continue to alienate their fan base it truly is a clown show.

I agree with this thinking if there are people available and interested in the jobs. There isn’t always a Pitinio type in all the sports that is a available and interested. Look around the country it isn’t an exact science.

AD the search committee needs to look at schools with great athletics success despite their resources. The AD’s at Liberty/Baylor are good examples. The kicker is if the “Jurich” booster will only support him why pay big money to someone the boosters won’t support. One thing that is clear they aren’t supporting Heird.

Pretty much agree. Jurich returning would mean other important things had changed because he’s not returning otherwise.

It’s why none of these hires incl. Payne’s tell me anything in isolation. U of L athletics has big problems that are bringing everything down…
