sang the national anthem today for the Cardinals opening day.

Question is does he make the Hall of Fame? Currently at 195 wins. Should probably get over 200 wins barring injury. Three time All-Star, Two time Gold Glove winner.

Great Cardinal. Should’ve retired last year. I’m afraid the end of this season is going to be ugly for him. He’s had a great career in St Louis, so that helps tip the HoF scales, as it should, but I have no clue if he'll get it or not. I think retiring with Molina so he could be eligible on the same ballot would've made it a done deal. They were a great team.

He’s in the Hall of Very Good.

Pitchers are an interesting scenario going forward because many of them don’t pitch the innings that old school pitchers did.

Was at the game today. I thought it was a bait and switch when he went to the microphone. He did a fine job. Cool moment!

Injuries in his prime cost him the Hall...
Yeah, I’m afraid this is probably the case. He was as good as anyone in baseball before some injuries. To his credit, his last 2 seasons have been pretty good, especially 2021.
