Took an official last weekend and Scout says he has an offer from South Carolina. Scout has him as a 2 star and ranked in the 200's at WR. But Rivals has him ranked as the 69th WR and lists him with a ton of legit offers. He's a 3 star of Rivals.

I don't want to sound like a douche but this could be an upgrade. I really liked Barnes because he's a pure speedster, I think he will be a great player for La Tech. But We already have another speedster in Brandon Holloway. Holloway and Barnes are nearly identical. Samuels is a taller type WR. So I think this could be good in that we are getting more height.

Samuel - Bama, Fla, Ark, LSU, Miami, USC, etc...

Not to mention that we are in dire need of another WR with decent size
