I'm thinking it's time for us to go out and hire an ambiguously homosexual disc golf coach from Grand Canyon College, build what will become the gold standard of disc golf courses with a quaint little fan section, completely dominate the sport in the south for a decade before the rest of the disc golf world figures out you can make money at it and then laps us in a matter of 1/2 dozen years with successes we never attained, and then rehire the coach after he goes off on a bender and types up an apocalyptic manifesto on an IBM selectric only to "retire" him after a dismal failure of a return.

I just forwarded that to Lavone Wolfe, a friend here in Huntsville who is also a nationally known character in the disc-golf world.
He told me that his UAH team finished 4th due to some errors they made in their own scorekeeping, otherwise they might have made the finals.

That's a world I don't understand, but those involved are really passionate about it.
Including a long-time poster on Genes page some of you may recall.
