No it won't. They already had the flop rule and it failed badly. All this does is give officials more control over a game and makes it longer.

So you don't mind officials slanting calls to one side or the other based off their own opinion or perhaps conference favorite. Whistles by officials should never interfere with game flow. Hope you enjoy those 75 foul shots and 4 1/2 hour games.

Games will average 2:30 hours. Officials micro-managing calls that don't matter.

They did a nice job adjusting a catch to an incomplete today with video that typically would be inconclusive when originally called a catch.
