If Mitchell is anywhere near 480 they aren't going to be bigger than MurphyI believe all those numbers to be low, Probably in order biggest to smallest Mt. Airy , Mittchell and Murphy.
Dogtuff would know better than me, but according to our local paper enrollment at the high school was up around 40 students from last year.mbdfan, any ideas on Murphy's #'s?
Yep, Murphy's avarage attendance last year the first 20 days was 491, if there's 40 more students enrolled I would guess that would go up by at least 20 students.ADM's is average attendance first 20 days of school.
Something to say? Oh and how was hibernation? Comfortable?Oh god.
big game for
Rosman this week if they win they bump the line up one. Cherokee is sitting at a mighty 275 lol
At least our coach doesn't go for a fake field goal up 40-00 in the forth. Wow!

Nice #, but you do know that the overall series record between Robbinsville and Murphy is something like 41-20 in favor of Murphy though, right? Just throwing that out there. At least our coach doesn't go for a fake field goal up 40-00 in the forth. Wow!

If ya'll ever get up 40-0 on Murphy you can return the favor. #running clock. At least our coach doesn't go for a fake field goal up 40-00 in the forth. Wow!

That would be a complete contradiction of what was said in the Scout at the beginning of the school year, when the superintendent stated that enrollment at the high school was up around 40 students. That comes from the superintendent on a recent interview when she was attending the commissioners debate last Thursday. She said Murphy high is at around 450 to 460 for the year so I believe the superintendent would have a better view then anyone else. It was on the local Cherokee scouts facebook page if you'd like to view the video so unless the school system doesn't know the numbers of their own schools, that's as good as source as you can have.
I personally hope that Rosman just "opts-out" of the playoffs altogether because NO team should qualify for the playoffs if they can't beat any team in the state in which the playoffs are held....
Not to be confusing, but I always want Rosman to win whether they are playing a team from out-of-state or not, but the Tigers have NOT earned the right IMO to compete in the North Carolina state 1A playoffs because they've beaten NOBODY from the state of N.C. , this year...
Hopefully, this year is NOT the beginning of another downward spiral in the football program?
That's my two cents worth!
Good luck to all the SMC teams who will qualify for the playoffs!
