ADMs are reported to the DPI after the 10th day of school. The DPI provides the NCHSAA with that information. Not sure where you are getting that information from that schools are using numbers from last year.

Usually final ADMs are lower than the ADMs reported early in the year due to students leaving school or being removed. Not true in all cases and the difference in class sizes has a lot to do with it but in general that is the case.

I would tell you to wait until the ADMs are posted in the next few days. If you think something is off go to the AD of the school you support and request they explain it to you.

I love how we all love each other......so much trash talk....Then when the playoffs come we support each other. Good luck to all!

Agree, but just don't ever see how rville20 could ever say anything positive about Murphy or pull for them. Cause the way I figure, he/she doesn't think they have ever in the history of the school won anything from checkers to baseball, football or marbles without cheating.

Go Mountaineers until they lose then Go WNC. Shoot I can't stand that green and black team in Burnsville but come playoff time I like to see them do well. Ok not to well, but well.

Let me guess, you want to see "that green and black team in Burnsville" go to the finals and lose it the most heart stomping, mind numbing, soul crushing way possible. Is that about accurate?

The deal with Sinclair was a two-year deal, starting last year, so I imagine they will be on My40 again in the mountains this year. Sinclair doesn't own anything in the Charlotte market and who knows if the NCHSAA would rather couple with a company that can reach there when this deal is up, but Sinclair has benefits-- they cover a lot of the state with Triangle, Triad, and mountain stations, it's on over the air channels and doesn't depend on potential viewers having a specific cable provider like when it was with TWC, their stations provided free live streams online for out of market viewers, and I think they did a pretty good job last year.

I haven't had it in a few years, so not sure. They used to carry WLOS but not My40, I am guessing because both local translators (Brasstown and Joanna Bald) were analog and didn't carry WLOS' digital subchannels, including My40. The tower on Joanna Bald is upgraded to digital and broadcasts My40 now, but the one in Brasstown hasn't, so I guess it would depend on where their signal is coming from. But you can pick it up with rabbit ears from the tower on Joanna Bald in most of the county.
