He's still an OL expert. They can run the ball...6.6 ypc so far this year. He's an SEC guy. When he gets canned, Beamer needs to be on the horn with him instantly.

He may be fired after this game. Can we do a midseason OL coach replacement? Give him the bye week to break into the staff.

I'll tell you what Arkansas proved today: a sorry-@$$ed SEC team is just as sorry as any other sorry-@$$ed FBS team. SEC teams can suck as bad, even at home, as anyone else's. They were disgustingly bad today.

Assuming this year ends poorly, next season is Beamer’s 6th season. Presumably he has to make significant coaching changes to remain as SC’s hc beyond next season.
1. He probably won’t do that.
2. Even if he were - I cannot think of an instance where it looks like a coach is going into his final season and is able to upgrade the staff.
Why would Pittman or any proven assistant come be a part of that?
